Carer’s Allowance are payments you, as a carer, may be able to receive from the government. If you are a carer aged 16 or over, you may be able to get Carer’s Allowance.
If you get Carer’s Allowance, find out whether you qualify for the Carer Premium - you may get more money! Carer Premium is an extra amount of money (up to £25.10 a week) which is included in the calculation of benefits such as Income Support, Income-Based Job Seekers’ Allowance, Housing Benefit And Council Tax Benefit (called Rent Rebate in Northern Ireland).
