Who does what?

Advice and Information shops

There are lots of organisations that give people advice and information. Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) can help you with advice about the law, benefits and lots of other things. Find your local CAB and lots of online information.

You might have a Youth Enquiry Service (YES) near you. The best way to find out is to type (or cut & paste) “Youth Enquiry Service” and your nearest town into a search engine.

Connexions (England) and Careers Scotland run one-stop shops in many towns where you can turn up and ask for information.

The Directgov website contains information for young carers and disabled people and you can also find out more about the advice and support available to you in your local area.
