Is there a cure?
There is still no cure for HIV, but doctors are trying to make one. There are medicines that help many people stay healthy for years when they have HIV. Some of these medicines try to get rid of some of the HIV, some help people fight off other infections. Some of these medicines can have very unpleasant side-effects.
