Elizabeth's story

hi, my name is lizzie and i am 14 years old and i care for my mum and brother. i have been caring for my brother for pretty much his whole life because he has behavior problems which sometimes makes it hard for him to do the right thing and i have to help him. i also care for my mum.

about 2 years ago around Christmas time my mum had a kind of heart attack and it left her partially paralysed. my mum was in a coma for 3 weeks and in hospital for another two. i had to help my brothers and sister (who are all younger than me) keep happy because they where very upset.

now my mum is getting better and is nearly like she used to be before her accident. i wish that i could do much more with my mum but i cant but i love her exactly the was she is.
