New to YCNet?
If you’re new to YCNet and would like the chance to get to know someone who already uses the site, buddying is just what you need.
We can match you with a YCNet buddy - someone who we’ve picked who is friendly and willing to help you find your way around the site, message boards and chat room. You can do this for the first two weeks of your membership and it all goes through the YCNet youth workers so it’s completely safe.
What’s it like having a buddy?
A young carer tells us about their experience of having a buddy:
"Having a buddy was great because you got to learn where anything and everything that is on the site that you couldn’t find. Having a buddy was also nice because you get a special friend 2 talk to for a bit and you can learn about there life as a carer."
