Just thought we'd let you know - there's going to be quite a big article about young carers in this week's Sunday Times (5th August). They spoke to some of our colleagues here at The Princess Royal Trust for Carers, so we're hoping it should be quite a good one!

Anyway, if you can get the chance to see a copy of it, we'd be really interested to see what everyone thinks of it. We'll come back and discuss it here next week.

Thats pretty cool i dont mean to brag but for the project im with i have been on eth radio for children in need to tell my story i have also been in the local paper and i'v been in the daily mirror with my story and to represent young carers as a hole :) lol

I have just read the artical in the times, i fort it was great, getting the points that us yc's need to be got accross, like the lack of comunication between adult and childrens services- i know that i was found as a yc pretty quickly however it still was only thanks to some one who put in alot of research from skool, if the hospital had told sum1 i would have had help sooner. And then there is that 'Lack of funding' and how we need more.

Thank-you Alex Fox!! what would we do without u!! You and the yc.net team have helped me and im sure loads of the others that use this site emensly- but then its not just the users u help, by talkin to the media u help to raise awarness of young carers, and also get our opinions out, and tell others on our behaf of what we need.
