mayb u should explain to one of ur teachers exactly what is wrong with ur bro n sis so that they know ur background and then tell them about how the other students treat u and ur family, also id try tellin ur mum or dad what is going on at school and what u feel about it.

    Re: school probs

My mother is an alcohol and i still and have put up with rumors that have gone around the local village for times and thats why when i went to the local school i left it within 3 days because i knew some people would try and maybe pick on me. I moved from schools till i decided to leave school at the age of 14.

If the ones that pick on you know how it felt to having to care for parents or siblings then they would shut up but till that time comes.. well. You know even if the teachers don't do any thing you can always march into the head office where the headmaster is and yell at him and make his staff (Your teachers) suffer.  Its the only way i delt with things and i can promise you it works :)

Bullies are hard to get around, I know it sounds stupid but if people think you and your family are wierd than that is their problem..They are just small minded ignorant people. I know it doent help and is very isolating but its not your fault. Try and keep strong and just remember that its them whos the weirdos not you!

Do you go to a young carers project? if not ask sam or ewan to help you find one near you if you want to go to one :)

    Take care xxx

    Re: school probs

try asking a teacher to explain, or explain yourself what the disabilities are-maybe in a pshe lesson, people are alot less critical when they more informed.
If your family is called weird remember that if u look at it in a differnt way then ur family is unique, thats a good thing!
