Yes, folks - it's the second of our summer contests - a photography competition!

We want you all to have a think about photos that relate to the summer. It might be pouring rain and floods outside, but we can make our own virtual summer in here!

Here's what you'll need to know:

- Your photo can be of anything that's a bit summer-related, but remember it must stick to the usual Youngcarers.net rules - so, there can't be anything in it that would identify you or another person.

- It doesn't have to be a photographer's masterpiece - pictures from mobile phones are fine too! The important thing is the idea that's in it.

- You're welcome to enter more than once, but you can't send more than one picture per day.

- Send your photos in an email to our usual address - youngcarers@carers.org . It'd be useful if you could make sure they're not too enormous, but don't worry too much.

- The contest closes on Thursday 24th August, when we'll announce a winner!

So, get snapping and let's see what creative people we have in our midst. As we receive pictures we'll put them into the Competition Gallery, so why not have a look? Just go to

P.S. If you've come here after seeing the contest mentioned in our YCNet newsletter, you might be wondering where the PhotoBucket stuff is. Actually, that was a mistake in the newsletter - we're not using PhotoBucket at all, so sorry for any confusion! We've found that the system we've worked out here is much easier, that's all.
