AWESOME!

My Favourite Day

My favourite day isn't Christmas,

Or Easter or a birthday,

On the ninth of october I'll be happy,

I'll probably shout "Hurray!"

Not because it's one month till my brother's b-day,

(Although that's pretty cool too, I must say)

Nope, I'll be happy and hyper just because,

It'll be National Poetry Day!

That one isn't work-related but here's a work related one -

Work

Schoolwork is really such a bore,

And yet the teacher's pile on more!

Homework makes me want to shout!

Why do teacher's keep handing it out?

Waitressing was a disaster zone,

You should've heard me whine and moan!

Working never seems to be fun,

The only fun part is when the work's finally done!
