hey, im 16 and i look after my mum who suffers from bipola defective disorder, and manic depresion. i know how u feel and my mum does the same as ur dad, her moods can change at the flick of a switch, its really hard sometimes and i find myself lookin after the rest of my family too. my older sister suffers from depresion due to my mums illness causes me allot of grief with anger and she doesnt understand things. if u get me. feel free to chat if u need me. god bless.

hi im jasmin im 12

i care for my dad who the doctors think he has depression and cronic fatige syndrome but were not sure if he has depression. my mum is a teacher so leaves at 7:45 in the morning and comes back at 5:30 at night so i have to look after my dad for around 8 hours a day (im home educated so i can stay at home all day) i have to go out with him because he cannot cross roads safely and he is not good in crowds. i have to make him a to do list for the week because he carnt rember anything that he needs to do. recently hes been getting worse so i have to do a lot now so i tidy, cook the meals, clean, make him lots of cups of tea, take him out so we can walk the dog and make sure he dosent just play his games all day because he would if he could.
