Hey i just found this site , although i have been a young carer for quite a while, i use to just care for my brother  who has autism ( i think thats how you spell it ) who is 8 and can be really annoying at tymes but hey you gotta love your family , i also look after my mum who has fibro mialgia ( dunno how to spell that either ) which is like atheritis in the whole body but worse and she has a slipped disc in her lower back, i can be a stugle as i am the only other person in  the house so i have to do every ting and its tirering i dont get in to bed at nite till bout 11ish .

 the carer that care for the young carers down here are brillant they really understand ... i just wanna meet new people and hear other storys

Well im 18 and i care 4 my dad who has schizophrenia which is a mental illness- he doesnt speak to me very often, and when he does he can often say some upsetting things. He has no concerntraition and stuggles to watch some of the soaps even.

Its hard caring for him as he can be very dimanding, i am currently a 6th form and i am studying Art music and drama- i really enjoy it and hope to go on to be a teacher eventually.
