I get bullied

What should my school do?

It is your school’s job to stop bullies from making your life difficult. When you tell a teacher that you are being bullied, they should:

  • Listen to you and tell you what they are going to do about it.
  • Explain your school’s Anti-bullying Policy to you – ask them about it.

They should not

  • Tell you it is your fault – it’s not.
  • Tell you that they can’t do anything – it’s their job to help.
  • Tell you to ignore it – no one should have to live with being bullied.
