Staying off school
| Do you take days off school to look after someone? Some young carers even feel like they don’t want to go to school at all. But if you miss the chance to get the most out of school it can affect your whole life. Here are some ways of making it easier to go to school: |
- Get help for your family so that you don’t have to do all of the caring.
- Get help with school work from teachers so that they don’t give you a hard time.
- Get help with bullying so that going to school isn’t as stressful.
- Talk to a Young Carers Project who will listen and help you think about your options.
